Congratulations Joe!!!

We attended Joe's soccer banquet the other night. We had a yummy Mexican dinner followed with awards for the boys and girls teams.
To our surprise Joe was awarded with "Best Offensive Player" and "Coaches Award." He also earned his letters since he played a whole season on a Varsity team. Great job, Joe! We're proud of you!

Awana Games

Three of the kids were in the Awana Games and Mulu was in the Sparks-A-Rama. My camera battery died so I didn't get many pictures and I didn't get ANY of Mulu. I know one of our friends did so I'm hoping to ride on his coat tails and get some from him.

Opening ceremony-We're the yellow team.

Baby Shower!

My five girls

We went to a baby shower for Miranda a few weeks ago given by her friend. We also gave her one the day before but don't have those pictures up yet. Sarah came home for the weekend so she could enjoy the fun with us!

Soccer All-Stars

Joel and John were both in All-Stars for soccer. Joel's team didn't make it quite as far as John's did. John's team came in second place for Division 5.

Life as usual

Nothing interesting going on here, just busy as usual. Joe is doing well at River Valley High and on their soccer team. Addis is going to 6th grade camp in March and met some new friends at her camp social Saturday. I'm back in as Early Childhood Director and Junior Active Missionary (JAM) church hour teacher. I'm switching SS classes and will teach the 4 & 5 year old class. Made reservations to fly to Nathan & Sarah's in a few months. We have our Awana games on Saturday for the four middle kids.
Soccer is over for everyone but Joe. yeah! Planning our camping season...Yosemite, KQ Ranch, and the beach here we come!

What happens when your 24 year old son gets ahold of your 10 year son........

We had our usual Christmas morning here at the house with our immediate family. We opened presents, had breakfast, enjoyed one another's company. Jake, Arianne and Simon decided they wanted to go home for a while and took John with them. When they came back John had a beanie on that we had given him that morning so I didn't think anything of it. Until.....the unveiling. Just a warning. Never let Jake alone with your children. Ever.
