I was trying to finish up school with the two youngest boys who are six and eight. John still had phonics to do and Joel was finishing up his math. The attraction that was outside our front door just was too much for these boys. We are having a patio poured and the concrete men were here!! Numbers and letters don't hold a match to trucks, dirt, men, iron, and concrete! I gave up and let them out to enjoy the moment.
How fun for them! I doubt I would have been able to keep my girls interested in anything else with that kind of excitement going on.
