My Rag Quilt is done!!!
Front: Back: Way too time consuming to do another one. I had grandiose ideas of making them for friends and family, but reality is I can't take that time away from my family to make another one. It's beautiful though, don't you think?
Vikki, that is very lovely. I wish I was talented at quilting. For all I can sew, I can not seem to do quilting at all. It always comes out looking all skewed or something. Definitely not square or neat and professional looking.
How pretty! I love it. Friends of ours have an older teen daughter who makes rag quilts baby-sized for baby gifts. We have been blessed with a couple of them and every time I am out and have one with me I get a compliment and have to hastily say that I didn't make it. Quilting is far beyond my time and talent at this stage in the game. Maybe when I'm known as Granny and not Mom. ;o)
That is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you've got talent...that's really sharp, the quilt looks to have the Ethiopian colors.

ReplyDeleteYours, on the other hand ... beautiful.
